DSB - Green Door-to-door Transportation
DSB - the Danish State Railways - are the largest Danish train operators, carrying more than 195 million passengers every year. DSB S-tog are responsible for running the so-called S-trains, the commuter trains that serve Greater Copenhagen. As part of the efforts of making green transportation easier and more accessible, commuters can bring their bike on the S-trains - for free. This means that passengers, for instance, can choose to cycle to the train station, jump on the train and carry on to the final destination on their bike after the train journey, allowing great flexibility and freedom.
